Eureka’s Story <3
Hi everyone, I'm so happy you are here!!
My name is Erica Stout, the founder of Eureka the Label. I want to take a moment to share what this brand means to me and a little bit of my journey along the way. In 2020, I had the idea of starting this clothing brand, but I was still in college with more growing to do. I quickly realized that I would have to work hard over the next two years if I wanted to own my own clothing company right out of college. And I began to do just that. At one point, I started working two jobs while still going to school full-time so I could fully support myself and the goals I had for the future. This time definitely wasn't easy and came with many sacrifices along the way, but it finally paid off in May of 2022. When I graduated with a degree in Retail & Consumer Sciences from the University of Tennessee. I was so excited because I knew the next stage of my life was going to be everything I had always wanted. I finally had the opportunity to put all my energy into working for myself to bring my own dream to life.
When I was coming up with a name for my clothing company, I went back and forth through many different options, but I always knew I wanted something that represented both me as a person and the people in my life that had helped me along the way. The name Eureka is extremely personal to me because it was the nickname that my grandparents gave me growing up. I wouldn't be where I am in life without them, so I wanted to honor them in a very special way. I have never forgotten my roots and I hope this brand can show others that it doesn't matter where you came from or how you grew up, if you want something bad enough, you can always make it happen for yourself. Eureka the Label means so much to me because I've always loved fashion and it's always been a creative outlet for me to express myself. My favorite part has always been experimenting with colors, designs, and all different types of textures to create my own authentic style. There is no better feeling than finding a new statement piece to add to your closet that is unique, this is truly what I want my customers to feel when they shop at Eureka. It has always been my mission to create a brand that promotes individuality, while helping others feel confident in their own skin. I want this brand to inspire customers to try new things when it comes to fashion, the more extra the better. I promise to always bring something new to my customers through each collection and eventually through original designs as well. This is only the beginning of Eureka the Label, and I'm just getting started. Thank you so much for your support, it truly means the world to me and I'm forever grateful.
